Voter Registration
If you are not already a registered voter, you may register to vote at Pass Christian City Hall (200 West Scenic Drive) or at the Harrison County Circuit Clerk’s office in Gulfport.
The deadline to register to vote in the primary election is Saturday, April 6. The Pass Christian City Clerk’s Office, in City Hall, will be open until 7 p.m. from April 1 to April 5 and from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. on April 6.
The voter registration deadline for the general election is Saturday, May 4. The City Clerk’s Office in City Hall will be open until 7 p.m.  from April 29 to May 3, and from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on May 4.
May 4 is also the deadline for voting by absentee ballot in person for the primary election. The deadline for receiving absentee ballots by mail for the primary is 5 p.m. on Monday, May 6.

ORDINANCE

      On December 20, 2016, the Mayor and Board of Aldermen of the City of Pass Christian, MS, adopted an Ordinance changing the polling place for the Ward Two to the Main Fire Station at 808 E. Second Street, Pass Christian, MS.  This is a summary only of the provisions of the Ordinance.   A full copy of the text of the Ordinance is on file and available for inspection and copying for any citizen or interested person upon request at the office of the City Clerk at City Hall and the Building Code and Zoning Office at 200 West Scenic Drive and the main City Library on Hiern Avenue, Pass Christian, MS.   

Mayor Leo "Chipper" McDermott and current members of the Board of alderman have all been qualified to run for re-election.

Primary Election: Ward 2 only: Regina Charlot, Democrat. and Willie Earl Washington, Sr. , Democrat.

General Election: Mayoral Election: Chipper McDermott and Theodore Lawyer

The Deadline to Qaulify has passed: March 2nd, 2017

Absentee voting will be available on March 18, 2017

Absentee applications and ballots will be mailed to permanently disabled on March 23, 2017

Voter registration deadline for Primary election is 12 noon on April 1, 2017.  Municipal Clerks office is open on Saturday, April 1, 2017  from 8am to 12 pm for voter registration

Municipal Clerks office is open April 1, 2017, April 22, 2017 and April 29, 2017 for absentee ballot voting.
