Join us in honoring our nation’s heroes. This May 21st , take part in a meaningful experience that pays tribute to the sacrifice that so many of our military and first responders make in service to our country. Keep their legacy alive! Come walk with us from Pass Christian Walmart to the Pass Christian Yacht Club (the walk begins at 5:30pm – bring a flag, wear a t-shirt, or bring a photo to honor a loved one or simply come as you are. The walk is just over 3 miles. There will be a beautiful gathering at the Yacht Club with guest speakers, food, drinks, and a military jazz band. It is so special! Coast Transit Authority will even have a bus to take you back to your vehicle at Walmart after the event!

Carry the Load is a non-profit organization that exists to preserve the sanctity of Memorial Day through community gatherings and storytelling to unite Americans in appreciation for the sacrifices made by a few who carried the load for all. What started in 2011 as a grassroots effort by two veteran US Navy SEALs has now grown into a nationwide movement with people honoring and remembering our nation’s heroes throughout the year.
