Why I Choose This Project

I chose this project because running has a very special place in my heart. It has guided me and helped me through many things as a kid. I tried all kinds of other sports and could never find something where I felt comfortable. I was looking for something to love, have fun with, and something I could do for life. Running continues to help me stay on track while in high school and I’m hoping I will be able to continue competitive running in college. Running has opened my eyes to the world and has presented many opportunities for growth and development. I have found many friends all along the coast and world, some that I would now call family because of how close we have become through our shared love of this sport. I want to bring the joy, love, passion, and fun I have with the sport to everyone in Pass Christian. Because what I have learned is that no matter if you are older or younger everyone can enjoy and benefit from running.
