* The short-term rental ordinance went into effect on November 3rd, 2023.  Please consult with the city planner and staff to obtain a new short term rental license to discuss requirements and any availability.

* Annual short term rental fees are $400 and accompany a $20 privilege license and are valid from September to September each year the property is being used as a short-term rental property.

* The City of Pass Christian has adopted the 2024 International Residential Code (IRC) and International Building Codes (IBC), along with other applicable codes.

*Please check with staff for the type of building permit you may need.

*Inspections may be called in the day before and no same day inspections.

* Planning Commission meetings are generally held the last Tuesday of every month at 4pm in the City Hall courtroom.

* Park Committee meetings are generally held the 2nd Tuesday of every month in the City Hall courtroom at 4:30pm.

* Historic Preservation Commission meetings are held generally the 2nd Wednesday of every month in the City Hall courtroom at 6pm.

* Tree Board meetings are generally held on the third Thursday of every month at 10am in the City Hall courtroom.
