Safety Notice! Due to a failed MDOT inspection, the Asmard Street Bridge has been closed to all traffic until further notice. The order is coming from Mayor Kenny Torgeson for the safety of all citizens, the school system, first responders and department workers in the City of Pass Christian. The North Street Road Project is beginning the overlay of North Street on Wednesday, March 18th. They will be utilizing a revolving single lane closure that will move with them as the work proceeds. They will wait until school traffic has passed to begin the single lane closure. Thank you for your patience – this project will pay off when completed. See map:
